A surf legacy reimagined for a new generation.

Stiffy had been dormant for over 25 years when I stepped in to help revive it. What began as conversations around the kitchen table evolved into a full-scale relaunch, rebuilding the brand from the ground up while honouring its roots in surf culture. Working closely with the founder we explored ideas, references and stories from the brand’s early days, reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens. I redesigned core wordmarks, created new hand-drawn graphics for tees and tracksuits, and even painted custom type directly onto surfboards, bringing a raw, expressive energy back to the name. Beyond the creative direction, I managed the process end-to-end: sourcing fabrics, selecting colourways, liaising with manufacturers, overseeing sampling and refining production. From concept to final garment, every detail was considered. The result was a carefully reintroduced collection, manufactured and released across Bali and Australia. A brand once paused in time, now confidently back in motion.
